24-Hour Flooring Makeover
Applying epoxy with flakes to a concrete floor involves several steps to ensure a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish:
- Preparation: clean the floor, repair all crack and holes, and etch the concrete to promote epoxy adhesion.
- Applying the Epoxy Base Coat: mix the resin and hardener, then use a roller to spread the mixture evenly.
- Sprinkling the Flakes: while the epoxy is still wet, add the decorative flakes to the surface, taking care to ensure an even distribution of flakes for a consistent appearance.
- Applying the Top Coat: after the base coat has cured, remove the excess flakes and apply the clear epoxy top coat.
